The current National Executive Committee has a representation of at least one-woman leader of the two representatives from each of the 12 cluster areas. The National Executive Committee activities are supported by a coordinator whose role is to ensure implementation of the annual plans.

Edwin Bett has experience working with women in economic empowerment and advocacy. He’s been working as the Coordinator of Kenya Federation for Alternative Trade, affiliated to the World Fair Trade Organization and has served as Board Director of the World Fair Trade Organization. He is also the African Regional Coordinator for HomeNet International.
Jemimah Nyakongo

Jemimah Nyakongo a hands on home based worker has experience working with women in the community mobilising and organising. She is the organizing secretary to Rachuonyo Women Group affiliated to Homenet Kenya, the current Chairperson to Homenet Kenya and also the Treasurer to HomeNet International.
Julia Lochingamoi

Julia Cheporwas Lochingamoi is a home based worker from Kenya and is the chair person of Ripote initiative CBO, also serving as the Vice Chairperson of HomeNet Kenya. Julia has been working in the netting of bead work for almost 10 years and still on it. Julia has been part of women empowerment programs through training and capacity building especially in netting bead work and looking for market for their products. She has a passion of working with women at the grass root level, networking for more groups of small businesses within her surrounding area.
Jim Kenyanya

Jim is a marketing professional with a particular interest in working with artisans. He has extensive experience in developing effective marketing strategies. In addition to holding a diploma in business management, he also has a bachelor’s degree in public and administration management. Jim is currently serving as an elected member of the Kisii County Assembly, and he has over 25 years of work experience.

Juliana has been working in the handicraft sector in the last 9 years. She has been part of women empowerment programs through training and capacity building especially in cookery, tie and dye, beadwork and printing. She has a passion of working with women at the grassroot level

Pamela is an artisan, I make hand made products from locally available materials e.g beading, threading etc I am the founder of KHAT FOUNDATION based in kibera Nairobi Kenya, and now serving in Homnet Kenya as a NEC member.
Fredrick Masinde
Governance and Finance
Fredrick Masinde is an expert in International Marketing with a bias towards Fair Trade markets promoting and selling Fair Trade products made by marginalised groups as means of economic and social empowerment. He has served on the WFTO Board of Directors as President and member. He is currently the Business Manager of Undugu Fair Trade Limited a social enterprise that provides marketing support to disadvantaged artisans who have the potential to positively change their lives by exploiting their crafts skills and materials found within their home environments and work majorly in their Homes.
Elizabeth Nzilani
Membership and Network Development
Elizabeth is a Product Development and Marketing Specialist, with vast experience in managing product development processes, enhancing existing products to meet customer expectations, for increased sales. Elizabeth’s experience revolves around mobilizing & organizing, research, identifying target market, the market requirements and key development and marketing strategies. She trains, mentors, and supports the community members tasked in delivering the products to a high quality for both local and international markets. Elizabeth is business administration graduate, with a postgraduate degree in development studies – conflict transformation and peace building, a diploma in Project Management and a trained Trainer of Trainees (TOT) in leadership and governance. As a trained Secretary and Human Resource and Admin Manager, Elizabeth has over twenty (20) years’ of experience working for a Co-operative Union.
