Preparatory Meeting for HomeNet International Congress

HomeNet Kenya in line with HomeNet Africa held a meeting between 8 – 10 February, 2023 in Entebbe, Uganda. Some of the objectives were:

• African affiliates of HNI to meet and prepare for their participation in the programme of the physical congress in April 2023.
• Selection of two representatives to serve on the HNI Executive Committee
• Detailed discussion of logistical preparations to ensure that all delegates are able to travel safely to and from the Congress.
• Presentation of an update on HNI activities since the virtual launch and plans for the year ahead.

During the meeting Edwin Bett was endorsed as the Interim Regional Coordinator.

Jemima Nyakongo from the Africa region has been elected as part of Homenet international executive committee to serve for 4 years.
